The problem

A South Tyrolean association runs on volunteers and lives in two languages. The treasurer keeps the dues in a spreadsheet, the secretary keeps the members in another, the dates live in a chat group, and the state expects a correctly formed electronic invoice regardless. Nobody is paid for the overhead, so the overhead is what drives people out.

The system

One system holds the register: members, contributions, dates, attendance, and the fattura elettronica the Italian state will accept. The committee works on a web board; members carry an app on iOS and Android. Every screen exists in German and Italian, because in this valley a single-language tool is a tool half the club cannot use.

The switch

This system holds real people's names, addresses and payments — a membership list is a data protection question before it is a product. So it runs on European infrastructure, access is granted rather than opened, and the club's data belongs to the club. Nothing here is trained on, sold, or borrowed.

Built for the volunteer. Answerable to the club.
